Fregaté island adopt a tortoise - Guest can now play an important role in ensuring the safety of Fregaté Islands favorite residents. For a minimum donation of US$100 a visitor can adopt a tortoise like James and a plant fruit tree along the tortoise trail near Anse Parc. A plaque bears the name of both guest and tortoise. Under the tortoise adoption project, the vulnerable young are cared for in an enclosure until deemed mature enough to tend for themselves. So far, thirty of these names tortoises have been released into the wild.

 

Air emirates starts flying to the Seychelles - Emirates, the Dubai based International Airline started service to the Seychelles on January 02, 2005. Flight from Dubai to Seychelles will operate on Tuesday, Saturday & Sunday. Flights from Seychelles to Dubai will operate on Tuesday, Saturday & Sunday.
