Selous Balloon Safaris. Serengeti Balloon Safaris announces commencement of their new balloon safari operation in the Selous Game Reserve, Tanzania. Their custom made safari balloon carries just eight passengers making this adventure a truly exclusive experience. They start at dawn from a launch site close to Mbuyu Camp and fly for about an hour, gently floating over the wonderful scenery and wildlife of this famous game reserve. The flight is followed by a traditional champagne celebration and an Out of Africa style breakfast prepared and served in the bush.  They have a special concession allowing balloon passengers to be transferred early in the morning, making this special excursion an option to your clients staying in virtually all camps within & close to the reserve.
