Day 1 Mt. Kenya: Mt. Kenya Safari Club (LD)
You will be met at your hotel or the airport and be driven to Mt. Kenya Safari Club. Spend the afternoon taking advantage of the facilities in this luxurious club — tennis, golf, horseback riding and much more. With its spectacular views across thickly forested slopes to the craggy peaks of majestic Mount Kenya, the Safari Club offers a unique blend of comfort, relaxation and adventure. Originally the retreat of movie star William Holden, Mount Kenya’s illustrious former members have included Winston Churchill and Bing Crosby. Set in over 100 acres of landscaped gardens, the Club recreates a mood of quiet elegance. Each room is luxuriously appointed and the Club’s facilities include a heated swimming pool, 9-hole golf course, horse-back riding, tennis court, putting green, sauna and beauty parlor, casino, disco, gift shops and boutiques, art gallery, trout fishing, day trips to Mount Kenya, game viewing platform, bush dinner on the river banks, nature walks, animal orphanage and more.
Day 2 Masai Mara National Park: Governors Tented Camp (BLD)
After breakfast, fly to the Masai Mara. In the afternoon, enjoy a game drive. Governors Camp was the first luxury tented camp to be established in Africa, set on a site reserved exclusively for the Colonial Governors of Kenya. It is situated in the heart of the best game viewing area of the world famous Masai Mara Game Reserve on the banks of the meandering Mara River. Governor’s camp maintains an authentic safari atmosphere with all guest facilities under canvas, including luxurious en-suite bathrooms. It sets the highest standards of comfort, personalized service and good food. Breakfast and lunch is served on the banks of the Mara River. Day 3 Masai Mara National Park: Governors Tented Camp (BLD)
Spend the day venturing deeper into the Mara with a morning game drive and an afternoon game drive. The Masai Mara is unrivaled in the abundance and variety of game. The vast plains are full of surprises — you may witness a kill by a big cat or playful lion cubs in the shade of an acacia tree alongside the dozing members of the pride.
Day 4 Masai Mara National Park: Governors Tented Camp (BLD)
You will have a full day of game viewing in the Masai Mara with a morning and afternoon game drive.
Day 5 Departure (B)
After a morning game drive and breakfast, fly to Nairobi where your trip ends.
