Day-by-day itinerary
Day 1 Praslin Island: Lémuria Resort
Arrive into Mahé, and connect with your flight to Praslin. Arrive into
Praslin, where you will be met by an AfricaTours representative and driven to the hotel. Set in more than 200 acres of palm groves on the north-west coast of the island of Praslin, The Five Star Lémuria Resort has 88 suites (80 junior and 8 senior) and 8 luxury villas (each with its own butler). A natural stream flows through the lobby, down the main stairs and out to an emerald lagoon, and the lighting was designed so as not to disturb the turtles laying eggs on the beautiful white beaches. The suites are located less than 15 meters from the shore. Each suite has air-conditioning, mini bar, safe TV, VCD, stereo compact disc and cassette player, telephone with an answering machine. The hotel also boasts two boutiques, room service, library, two tennis courts, sauna, Jacuzzi, steam baths, and a fully equipped gym. The hotel also offers snorkeling, sailing catamarans, kayaks and windsurfing (theses activities are included in the price). Scuba diving, deep-sea fishing, watersports lessons, the golf course, the Guerlain spa is also available at an additional charge.
Day 2 Praslin Island: Lémuria Resort (B)
Spend the day at leisure to enjoy the hotel facilities. Laze on the beach or take an optional excursion. Visit the world famous Vallée de Mai Nature Reserve the home of the Coco de Mer Palm (double coconut) found nowhere else in the world; take a guided coach tour of the island or a boat trip to several of the surrounding islands.
Day 3 Praslin Island: Lémuria Resort (B)
Spend the day at leisure to enjoy any of the activities, which didn't get done yesterday!
Day 4 Praslin Island: Lémuria Resort (B)
Spend the day at leisure. Take a trip around the island, stopping at Grande Anse for some shopping, or just laze on the beach, catching the rays.
Day 5 Praslin Island: Lémuria Resort (B)
Spend the day at leisure.
Day 6 Departure (B)
After breakfast, you will be driven to the airport for a short flight to Mahé to connect with your scheduled International Flight.
